Thursday evening, three of our youth members from Plum Borough School District Senior High School joined dozens of other students from high schools around the county in the commencement ceremonies for the Allegheny County Emergency Services High School Firefighter Program:
– Firefighter/EMT Chase Nesbitt
– Firefighter Avery Schaffer
– Junior Firefighter Emily Westover
They completed a year-long hands-on program as part of their high school curriculum with the Allegheny County Fire Academy.
The officers & members of the Holiday Park VFD offer our congratulations to these three youth firefighters who worked hard and have up countless hours to complete the program!
