Santa Claus has sent a special letter to the Holiday Park Volunteer Fire Department asking us to escort him around the neighborhoods on our fire trucks the weekend before Christmas!
Santa Claus along with our firefighters acting has his “special elves” for the night will be judging holiday decorations and picking a local residence as a winner for a special prize this year!
Winner will be announced after Santa has completed going around the neighborhoods here on Facebook.
In keeping with local and state COVID-19 health & safety precautions the following will enforced during his visit:
1) Santa Claus & special guests will remain on the fire trucks to maintain social distancing.
2) Firefighter Elves will be masked up and passing our holiday treats in sealed wrappers.
3) Residents and families are welcome to approach the fire trucks, safely, to get a picture in front of it with Santa up top. Please check in with the firefighters before you walk up to make sure everyone is safe.
4) If you live on a dead-end street or small round-a-bout, please come down to the intersection. Our ladder truck has a hard time making tight turns into the streets when its not an emergency.
