Monday evening before The Borough of Plum Council two of our members along several from Plum EMS & Plum were recognized for the Cardiac Arrest save of Holiday Park area woman that occurred back in February; who has now recovered and was there that evening to meet everyone. Assistant Chief/EMT Josh Scalamogna and Firefighter/EMT Tom Hordubay were the fire department members who were on this rescue.
Another example of why we want to educate as many people as possible with CPR. Next week we will be holding two free classes for the community (already full, but looking at potentially more in the future) as well as our colleagues at Plum EMS hold monthly CPR training classes too.
