The Member of the Year Award is the highest annual award the department’s membership can bestow on a member. Normally the president coordinates the award, however many in the membership wanted the president to receive it; so in a joyous surprise, President Jackie Taylor, was awarded it.
Jackie is a strong part of the department, always there to assist, plan, work, and mentor our members. No matter the time of day, Jackie is always there to help. In addition to her president’s duties, Jackie also oversees our Social Hall Rental program and a valuable member of the Social Hall refurbishment committee.
