The 2026 Fire Camp had a special new segment added this year with a Fire Sprinkler Live Burn demonstration by the National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA). Cadets, Staff, and visitors got to see what happens when a room with and without sprinkler system deals with a fire in a matter a few minutes. The NSFA awarded Holiday Park VFD with a special grant that covered local tradesmen coming to camp to build out the demonstration rooms and for a instructor from the NSFA to teach the class; we thank them for their generosity.
