Busy week for our fire department as our Special Events Team covered the following events:
– Celebration of Life for for Kevin Sebunia at Larry Mills Park with 236-ATV & the 395 Fire Police Squad stood by to assist with First Aid & traffic control.
– The three-day Plum Soccer Classic soccer tournament with over 300+ teams competing across Plum from three states. Our EMS personnel are staffing the First Aid Tent and providing onsite Emergency Services & Fire Safety.
– The two-day Annual Western PA Scholastic Mountain Bike Races at Boyce Park rescue and EMS operations to support the athletes on the trails & course.
– Four of our personnel assisted with first aid on the course of Pedals with Police event in Pittsburgh. They covered the 10 mile course escorting the participants.
– Plus, covering several 911 emergencies across the Borough of Plum not only in our district but our brother departments too
