The officers and members of the Holiday Park VFD are saddened by the loss of one of our members, Ron Richards, on Sunday. Ron and his family have been a part of our fire department since 2013 serving in various roles & committees.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Ron and his family. We ask everyone to please respect the family’s privacy at this time and to also pray for them.
Ron could be found supporting the fire department on Thursday evenings at our weekly Bingo as part of the Bingo Committee. He was well known for strong baking & cooking abilities where he would whip up delicious items for our members and special events. His wife and daughters are also members of our fire department while his son, Russ, is a volunteer firefighter at the Pitcarin Fire Department.
