Fire Camp & Junior Fire Academy 2024
We are happy to announce the return of our 6th annual Fire Camp & Junior Fire Academy for this summer! The Holiday Park Volunteer Fire Department each summer hosts the week-long camp for youth 14 – 17 years of age who are interested in the Emergency Services fields whether as a career path or as volunteers. A cadre of instructors and staff from the areas of Fire, Emergency Medical Services, and Law Enforcement provide the campers, or as we like to call them, cadets, a glimpse into their worlds and sample what it’s like to be in them.
Camp Dates
We will hold our sixth annual fire camp from June 17th to June 21st, 2024 with registration open starting January 15, 2024. The format will be similar to past years but with a few new surprises and skills for the cadets to experience. Camp is limited to 40 Cadets so we recommend registering as early as possible.
