Today, the cadets spent the entire day at the Allegheny County Fire Academy where expanded their skills with the Confidence Maze, Search & Rescue, VES, Wall Breaching, Denver Drill, Advancing Hose lines up steps/floors, Forcible Entry, & a simulated Backdraft.
Special Thank you to Allegheny County Emergency Services and the Allegheny County Fire Academy Staff for allowing us to use their facilities and also for providing us with instructors! Also thank you to the Plum Borough School District for providing us a school bus for the day to help transport the cadets.
Tomorrow the cadets will develop their first aid skills, vehicle extrication, arson investigation, and water rescues; so come back tomorrow for more highlights!
