236-Rescue & 236-Engine responded during afternoon rush hour today to a vehicle fire on Golden Mile Highway across from the main parking lot of our fire station. Crews quickly attacked the fully involved fire and were able to bring it under control without spreading.

Plum EMS attended to the driver.

395-Fire-Police units & Plum Borough Police Department provided traffic control to ensure scene safety; the road was reopened after a short period of time.
