236-Engine responded into Murrysville off of Greenhead Court on Saturday afternoon for a confirmed residential structure fire supporting Sardis Volunteer Fire Company, the fire went to 3 alarms with multiple departments from Westmoreland and Allegheny counties on-scene.
Crews were on scene for several hours and the fire is under investigation.
While 236-Engine was at this fire, 229-Rescue was brought into 236-Station to assist as a standby unit along with our crew for 236-Truck during the 3-alarm incident to ensure the borough was protected.
