On Sunday evening after a busy morning of calls (fire, rescue, & EMS), we were dispatched along with several mutual aid companies to a reported residential structure fire from a chimney on Shasta Drive in the Holiday Park Fire District (236).

236-Captain was first on scene reporting full evacuation of the residence and the structure filled with smoke. Fire units from Plum, Monroeville, and Murrysville quickly responded, began to control the smoke, addressed the chimney issue, and ensured no extension of fire. Residence was ventilated, checked, and turned over to the homeowner.
