Holiday Park VFD takes time each year to thank the various agencies that have assisted us in special ways and circumstances during the past year. While we applaud all those agencies and departments that come to assist us on the fire ground, these couple have gone the extra mile this year:

– Fire Camp Staff Assistance: Mike Kreminiski, Allegheny Fire Academy Instructor for on-site teaching classes
– Fire Camp Staff Assistance: Penn Hills VFD #225 for use of their facilities for cadet training
– Fire Camp Staff Assistance: Monroeville VFD #4 for instructing cadets on ladder operations & assisting in fire during camp week
– Fire Camp Staff Assistance: Den Felack Sr, Commander of Kiski Siwftwater Rescue for teaching water rescue class to cadets
– Fire Camp Staff Assistance: AHN Lifeflight for bringing medical helicopter to camp, plus teaching landing zone ops and Stop the Bleed
– Fire Camp Staff Assistance: Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire for use of their Fire Academy complex for last day of camp
– Fire Camp Staff Assistance: Allegheny County Fire Marshall’s Office for teaching cadets about Arson Investigation
