Thursday evening 50 high school students from across Allegheny County including 14 from the Plum Borough School District had their orientation night for the Allegheny County Fire Academy’s ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ต ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ต๐ผ๐ผ๐น ๐๐ป๐๐ฟ๐ ๐๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐น ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ป๐ฟ๐ผ๐น๐น๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ in North Park.
This program in conjunction with the various local school districts in Allegheny County allows high school students to earn their firefighter certifications as an elective in their yearly courses.
Holiday Park VFD wishes three of our junior firefighters (Avery, Chase, & Emily) the best of luck as they are participating in this program which is the first year for any student from Plum Borough taking part in.
