Wednesday evening several of our Firefighters & EMS personnel took part in a Vehicle Rescue training night with our neighbors, Washington Township VFC – Westmoreland. Their Rescue Captain, Bill Leith, led the class through equipment refreshers, stabilization, assessment, and extrication techniques.
We look forward to these monthly joint drills with them as it builds cohesiveness ๏ฟผ& operational framework between our two departments. Thank you to Clyde’s Towing for the use of their yard and donated vehicles.
Our Rescue responds into their district so having working knowledge of each other only improves fire & rescue ground effort.
