All this week we’ve shown you the EMS side to our volunteer fire department, and we have received questions if we accept members who want to focus on EMS rather than Firefighting… Well the answer is YES! We have the “Emergency Responder” position at Holiday Park VFD; where you be a part of our QRS team.
If you are not already certified we will send you earn your Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) certification, and depending how you progress over time with us, potentially higher levels of certification down the road such as EMT and/or BVR. All training fees paid for the fire department as a volunteer with us!
For those with existing certifications, we are Continuing Education Sponsor Agency with ConEd classes offered throughout the year to keep everyone’s skills up to date. Classes held in the region as well as conferences are also available to attend.
