Today we highlight one of new EMS members of the fire department: Dr. Lee Milligan, MD, PHP, CHCIO; who joined in 2025.

Volunteer Years: Less than 1 Year at HPVFD
As a board certified Emergency Physician and a state certified EMS Pre-Hospital Physician, Lee comes to us with years of experience dealing with medical & traumatic emergencies as well as educational facilitation.
Dr. Milligan falls into our fire department under the “Special Member” category, these are professionals who cannot meet the time commitment of our full “Active” category on a monthly basis; but still want to dedicated time to the fire department and community when they can. As a Physician, Lee already has a heavy load, but he has carved out time to respond to emergency calls on our QRS, educate our EMS Providers on procedures/treatment, and develop interactive community programs with us.
๐๐๐ป ๐๐ฎ๐ฐ๐: Lee and his wife, are avid motorcyclists and to the extent that he will leading a class next month called Biker Down: Immediate Care for Riders & their Passengers; where local riders can learn how to provide critical care till First Responders arrive on scene.
