With COVID-19, our fire department did not hold its annual Banquet at the beginning of the year; but we still want to acknowledge the outstanding work of our volunteers from this past year. (๐๐ฐ๐ต๐ฆ: ๐๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฐ ๐ช๐ด ๐ง๐ณ๐ฐ๐ฎ ๐ข ๐ฑ๐ข๐ด๐ต ๐ฃ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ถ๐ฆ๐ต.)
Fire Police Lieutenant Monte Myers was awarded the “Lawrence E. Glass Chiefโs Award”; which is presented to an active member of the fire department who has performed above and beyond to the department in operational areas. The chief line officers of the department select the member each year and the award is named after past Fire Chief & Life Member Larry Glass. The award is traditionally presented at the annual banquet by his widow, Carol Glass.
