Holiday Park VFD values its partnerships with local community organizations; this morning two local children won the opportunity to be picked up at home by a fire engine and driven to school in style. Through a silent auction held by the Sampson Family YMCA; the children’s parents won this special trip as a fundraiser for the YMCA.
Along with the ride, they received a personal tour of the engine, try on firefighter gear and each received their own fire dept ballcap.
Our brothers from Unity VFD took one child to her school while we took the other to his school.
Again we are always ready to help our fellow Plum community organizations and at same time make children happy!
