The officers & members of the Holiday Park VFD are proud to offer our congratulations to JRFF Alex Taylor on him passing the national examination for Emergency Medical Responder (EMR).

Alex will next focus on completing the HPVFD QRS qualifications to become a “Cleared EMS Provider” on a call by working with our veteran EMR’s & EMT’s, completing some additional continuing education topics, and gaining experience in the field.

We look forward to Alex being a good member on our QRS/EMS team!

Emergency Medical Responder is a course that teaches lifesaving skills such as CPR, bleeding control and airway management. These courses are usually 56-70 hours in duration. You must be at least 16 years of age. You can then certify by successfully completing the National Registry of EMTs exam which includes both a skills and computer exam at a Pearson Vue testing center.

Media Inquires and Public Information requests for the fire department will be handled by our Public Information Officer/Community Outreach Officer by emailing to info@holidayparkvfd.org
