Once again, personnel from the Holiday Park VFD manned the First Aid Tent and provided Emergency Services for the annual Plum Soccer Kick-off Classic from August 23-25, 2019. The three-day event brings in over 10,000 competitors and attendees to several locations across Plum.
Holiday Park VFD provided EMS-certified crews to not only staff the tent but also stand-by for any fires or rescue situations with 236-ATV and 236-SQUAD onsite. This year, we added a two room tent; with any private rehab/examination area for patients to lay down in.
Our crews worked closely with the tournament’s medical director to treat patients with a range of injuries and medical situations over the weekend. We would like to thank Plum EMS and Monoreville Fire EMS for assisting us on several occasions and transporting the patients to the hospital.
