This past week, Holiday Park VFD sent four firefighters to the Fire Department Training Network (FDTN) near Indianapolis. They spent several days in an intense Truck Company Operations class, which included numerous live fire evolutions to provide a realistic training experience. The program includes instructors and students from all over the country & also international at times.
The students walk away with gaining a fresh perspectives beyond traditional firefighting tactics & training. We look forward to them bringing what they have learned back to the rest of the fire department to improve us all.
