Back in February a Plum resident went into Cardiac Arrest at his home; thanks to team effort involving Allegheny County Emergency Services 911 dispatcher, his 16-year old son, Holiday Park VFD, and Plum EMS, his heart began to beat & began to breathe again after down for over 25 minutes.

On April 8th, those responders met their patient, now recovered and thanking them for their assistance at a Plum Council Meeting & acknowledgment from The Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association. His son was acknowledged for starting the CPR process and conducting compressions for over 10 minutes till emergency crews got onscene.

Plum EMS offers a CPR class every month for the general public; the more people that know how to do it, the more lives that could potentially be saved! Info -> https://plumems.com/CPR.html
