Holiday Park VFD hosted a First Aid and Stop the Bleed class for the community last night as part of our September National Preparedness Month educational series. The class, held in conjunction with COVID-19 safety protocols; allowed everyday citizens the opportunity to learn life-saving skills for the home, workplace, and travel.
Part of the class was dedicated to the national Stop the Bleed program which teaches precise measures to follow to prevent tragic bleed-outs. Each student was given a free DoD standard Stop the Bleed kit for their family.
