This past week, our firefighters have been going through training for our new Scott SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) packs. Every firefighting member must complete the training to maintain their status lead by Lt Sam Gates, Jr.
The air packs were obtained as part of a three department FEMA grant spearheaded by Unity VFD. These packs have the latest technology & safety features.
They officially go into service and on all our apparatus on June 1st!
