Our members staffed the fire station for the duration of the storm & aftermath to ensure we did not miss a emergency dispatch or call for assistance. 14 Firefighters & EMS Responders were in-house ready to go as well as other members as back-up.

RESPONSES:
– 6 Medical Calls
– 2 Motor Vehicle Accidents
– 1 Residential Structural Collapse
– 1 Commercial Fire Alarm
– Numerous Public Service Assists

We would like to thank all those residents & businesses who:
1) helped keep fire hydrants visible & accessible
2) helping us clear paths/areas during incidents
3) donating items to the stand-by crews
4) all the encouraging comments, messages, emails, and phone calls supporting our volunteer personnel!

Severe Weather is a total team effort between first responders and the community where Plum Borough stepped up! Bravo!

Our volunteer department appreciate the community and all of our first responder agency partners.
