The officers & members of the Holiday Park VFD offer our congratulations to Emily Zangrilli on successfully passing her National Registry Exam for Paramedic. This time last year, Emily headed off to Montana to be enrolled in a unique Paramedic program tied to the wilderness & outdoors.
Furthermore we also offer our best wishes as she has accepted a position with a local fire department out there that specializes in rope rescue, both high and low angle, swift water rescue, EMS, and more.
While a member of the Holiday Park VFD, since 2022, Emily was an EMT responding with our QRS for medical emergencies as well as an Instructor for CPR, First Aid, & Stop the Bleed and a volunteer at our weekly Bingo nights.
She is a graduate of Plum Borough School District Senior High School and ran with Plum EMS as an EMT.
