Our crews from 236-Engine & 236-Squad along with a crew from Logans Ferry VFD spent today in the Flashover Simulator at the Allegheny Fire Academy.
The simulation has firefighters in a secure structure that creates fire rolling over their heads, along the walls, and creates high heat to simulate what it is like when a room flashes over. Crews practiced decon and rehab operations after each evolution.
