National Stop the Bleed Day is today and it is one of the most days dedicated to life-saving all year!. ๐ผ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ค๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐ฃ ๐๐ ๐ฉ๐ง๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ ๐ง๐๐๐๐ฎ ๐ฉ๐ค ๐จ๐๐ซ๐ ๐จ๐ค๐ข๐๐ค๐ฃ๐โ๐จ ๐ก๐๐๐ โ a friend, a family member, colleague or the person next to you โ whether you know them or not.
๐๐ฃ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐ฉ๐ง๐ค๐ก๐ก๐๐ ๐๐ก๐๐๐๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐จ ๐ ๐ข๐๐๐ค๐ง ๐๐๐ช๐จ๐ ๐ค๐ ๐ฅ๐ง๐๐ซ๐๐ฃ๐ฉ๐๐๐ก๐ ๐๐๐๐ฉ๐๐จ. Approximately 40% of trauma-related deaths worldwide are due to bleeding or its consequences, establishing hemorrhage as the most common cause of preventable death in trauma.
๐๐ค๐ก๐๐๐๐ฎ ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ฟ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐จ ๐ฉ๐๐๐จ ๐๐๐ช๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐๐ก ๐๐๐๐ค๐ง๐ฉ ๐จ๐๐ง๐๐ค๐ช๐จ๐ก๐ฎ in not only training our emergency personnel but also the general public whenever possible. It is a core element of annual Fire Camp & Junior Fire Academy for teens program. We are fortunate to have ๐ฉ๐ฌ๐ค ๐๐๐ง๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฉ๐ค๐ฅ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐ฝ๐ก๐๐๐ ๐๐ฃ๐จ๐ฉ๐ง๐ช๐๐ฉ๐ค๐ง๐จ on our roster to guide the educational efforts.
