Santa Claus visited the neighbors of Holiday Park section of Plum today for the first time in the evening with the firefighters of Holiday Park VFD. He took turns switching between the engine, ladder, and rescue trucks and passing out Candy-Canes with his firefighter-elves.

This year include a new feature: “Home Decorating Contest” where Santa & the crews selected three residences across the district based on originality, context, fun, holiday spirit, and surprises. Each winner received a holiday gift basket designed to help with fire safety & provide some treats! (see list below in Santa’s note for winners basket)

You can see all three winners in the photos album but one winner stands out: a new family who literally just moved to Holiday Park this week; came out to surprise Santa; with Mom, Dad, and baby newborn each dressed as Santa. They didn’t have much time to get the house decorated while unpacking and taking care of a newborn but they thought the outfits would be a hit! Santa loved it!

For heath & safety reasons, this year Santa Claus remained on the fire trucks for pictures while his firefighter-elves passed out sealed Candy-Canes while wearing face-masks and protective gear.
