Josh Scalamogna was awarded “Life Membership” status by the Holiday Park Volunteer Fire Department after completing over 15 years of dedicated service meeting high standards and milestones along the way at our annual banquet on January 31, 2026.
He began his career in 2007 as a Junior Firefighter and since that time has worked his way up the ranks to 2nd Assistant Chief. As a founding cadre member of our annual Fire Camp; he has been hands-on involved in its planning and execution; in addition as Platoon Leader providing mentorship to the teens.
In recent years, Josh has led the successful revitalization of two key fundraisers: our Lenten Fish Fry where he incorporated new menu items, preparation methods, and inventory control as well as our Gun Bash where he led the multi-year record breaking successful event.
Josh owns and operates a robust Plum based business: JMS Sealcoating & Asphalt, LLC, with his wife, Gabby.
