This past Saturday, Firefighter/Paramedic Norm Auvil led hands-on training on extrication techniques and rescue processes involving school buses and automobiles.
This training event was made possible through the generosity of the Plum Borough School District and Clyde’s Auto Service, Repair & Towing for providing the vehicles for the class.
Skills covered: vehicle stabilization, patient assessment, extrication methods, patient care & removal, vehicle structuring, tool use, planning/execution of rescue ops, etcโฆ
