Wednesday evening, we hosted a free American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR class for the community. Over 20 students completed the certification that includes adult, child, and infant response to cardiac arrest.
Holiday Park VFD applauds anyone and everyone who takes the time to learn CPR; the best chance for survival is early implementation of CPR by the community before first responders arrive.
Our fire department is fortunate to have over a dozen certified instructors with the American Heart Association to teach their courses as part of our community outreach program each year.
The next Heartsaver CPR class will be in May as part of National EMS Week, dates forthcoming.
