236-Engine with crew of six firefighters responded into Washington Township, Westmoreland County, for a reported residential structure fire involving two homes on Friday evening. Our crew was one of the first on scene to the two-story home fire on Hoover Drive and quickly went to work in first supporting water access operations and then hose line operations.
Two individuals were transported by local EMS to the hospital for fire related injuries. Two neighboring homes sustained heat damage to their siding after crews were on-scene for a few hours with clean-up operations.
