The officers and members of the Holiday Park VFD congratulate Junior Firefighter Dylan Sutton on his awarding of Boy Scouts of America highest honor, the Eagle Scout, today. Chief Jim Sims presented Dylan with a special plaque on behalf of our department.
Dylan’s Eagle Scout project involved building out new gear room racks, obtaining clothes for our decon kits, cleaning materials, and overall awareness/support to the department’s Cancer Awareness and Prevention program.
Dylan’s troop is based in Oakmont and is a part of the Boy Scouts of America, Laurel Highlands Council.
