Wednesday evening, Plum’s first responders formed a caravan of emergency vehicles full of toys for the annual Marine Toys for Tots Foundation collection at Plum Borough School District Senior High School. Holiday Park VFD, Plum EMS, Unity VFD, Renton VFD, and Plum Borough Police collected toys the past few weeks and delivered them in style this evening.
At Holiday Park VFD we would like to point out the patrons from our weekly Bingo who came through with many toys again this year. For the past three years, the ladies & gentlemen who attend it weekly have step up to bring in toy donations for kids across Western PA.
We also received numerous donations from the community since we are a collection site for the annual event. The public would stop at various hours of the day and week to drop off toys; it was amazing.
