Members, colleagues, and guests gathered together to review 2019, acknowledge various accomplishments & honors, and swear-in the officers of the Holiday Park Volunteer Fire Department. The evening was filled with fellowship, fun, and numerous opportunities to recognize the good work of our members and fellow agencies.
Several Life Members attended this evening to celebrate the success of the department over the years.

FireFighters received their Fire Prevention Certification after conducting educational classes this past year for children on how to deal with fire, smoke, and protecting their homes.

Special Commendation for those members who responded during the massive flooding that took place across Plum Borough this past summer, Holiday Park VFD responded to over 50 emergency calls in 24 hours ranging from water rescue, entrapment, wires down, flooded homes, and more.

Some of our members who served on staff for our 2nd Annual Fire Camp & Junior Fire Academy…. Several gave up a full week’s vacation to staff the camp for 22 campers in June.
